Job summary

Brock Solutions is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team at the head office in Kitchener, ON. You will deploy and configure software to customer test and production environments, and modify product code to meet client needs.

Ideal candidates have a BS in IT/CS, 1–3 years of experience (co-op considered), strong SQL skills, and experience with an OO language (C#, Java, or C++). Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or related degree required with 1–3 years of experience (co-op considered).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of databases.
• Experience with an object‑oriented language (C#, Java, or C++).
• Familiarity with Flyway, Powershell, Azure DevOps, Python or Ignition is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and perform night/weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy and configure software to customer test and production environments.
• Configure and setup server hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, Bluetooth devices).
• Modify product code to meet the customer's unique needs.
• Demonstrate complete integrated system with key external stakeholders during Functional Acceptance Testing and on-site system testing.
• Travel to site to see your work in action, up to 25%.
• Root cause analysis of defects identified in production.
• Limited on-call rotating support escalation (10%).
• Maintain, develop, and improve our automated test and deployment tools.
• Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to d eploy & c onfigure s oftware to customer test and production environments

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• 1-3 years experience (co-op considered)
• Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written
• Proficiency with SQL & knowledge of databases
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++ , or other languages are also acceptable.
• Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell , Azure Devops , Python, Ignition is an asset
• The ability to travel & perform night/weekend work
