Job summary

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions in Calgary is seeking a Software Infrastructure Designer to design, develop and implement scalable testing platforms. You will contribute to Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub-based automation and build extensible infrastructure for verification of hardware and software products.

You should have strong Python expertise, CI/CD experience, and shown ability to create user interfaces and APIs, plus communication skills to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering or similar relevant experience.
• Expertise in Python.
• Experience working with CI/CD systems such as GitLab, Jenkins and GitHub.
• Proven ability to create good user interfaces and API’s.
• Experience with various software testing methodologies and problem solving.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions is looking for an Software Infrastructure Designer to add to our Software Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Team Lead, Software Test Infrastruture, you will design, develop and implement systems that meet user needs for general and customizable test platforms. This team responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing automated test infrastructure used in the verification and validation of software and hardware products. You will learn about our systems and utilize your knowledge to build a truly extensible and full featured system; and to support an ever-increasing demand for automation and testing. Solve challenging problems related to enabling high capacity, high reliability, scalability, and configurability.
