Your Role

We need a strong leader to be the Software Engineering Manager for our Global Licensing Systems team. These systems are used for the full life‑cycle of music licensing; from finding the right music in our extensive catalog to pitching to external clients based on their unique needs, managing the approval workflow, and capturing the licensing terms and options for music recordings and works used across all kinds of media (movies, commercials, video games, compilation, mechanical licensing, etc).

About You
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
  • You’re a passionate engineering leader, with at least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 6‑10+ software engineers
  • You are hands‑on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work
  • You communicate effectively and have a proven track record of effective hiring and team building
  • You thrive in ambiguity and fast‑paced, evolving environments
  • You’re an empathetic leader who builds strong teams
We’d Love It If You Also Had
  • Experience with Java, Angular, React, and AWS – Experience in this tech stack is a plus, although not mandatory.
