Job summary

OLIX in Toronto is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our team building the software stack (compiler, runtime, simulation and tooling) for the DX-1 accelerator. This co-op/ internship offers hands-on experience with a dataflow architecture in a disaggregated inference environment.

Based in Toronto, you will work closely with mentors to own and deliver scoped projects, contribute production code, and optimize performance across compiler and systems software.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE/Math with available co-op or internship.
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ beyond coursework.
• Solid understanding of memory hierarchies and concurrency.
• Experience with compilers or systems software.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver scoped projects on the team roadmap with mentorship.
• Contribute production code to compiler, runtime, or tooling.
• Optimize performance through layout, scheduling, or tiling.
• Collaborate with compiler, systems, FPGA and ASIC engineers.
• Ground conclusions in measurement and clearly report results.
