Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software/Hardware Integration professional for the Midland, Ontario area. You will develop software and database solutions to automate data processes and collaborate with Engineering, Digital Technology, and Operations to deliver innovative manufacturing solutions.

The role involves designing and maintaining software applications and hardware systems, integrating industrial metrology, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering with 0–4 years of industry experience.
• Experience in software development focusing on automating data processes.
• Proficiency in SQL or other relational databases; front-end development basics.
• Familiarity with hardware systems for data acquisition (industrial metrology or test systems).

What You Will Do:

• Familiarity with hardware systems for data acquisition, such as industrial metrology or custom test systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking approach to digital transformation.

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program.
