Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op in Waterdown, Ontario. You will join the embedded software team to support new and existing product designs, focusing on C/C++ and Python in a real-time environment.

The 16-month co-op term (with some 12-month terms possible) offers hands-on experience in testing, debugging, and analyzing improvements for reliability, performance, and cost reductions within defense technology systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of embedded C / C++ programming as part of a co-op term.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Understanding of real time operating systems and multi-threaded real time code.
• Understanding of embedded systems design (hardware & software).
• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with good communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

About The Role
