Job summary

L3Harris Waterdown is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op student to contribute to hands-on projects in a defense tech setting. You will work with a team to design, test, and document circuitry, gaining valuable experience on real-world engineering tasks.

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a 16-month co-op term; 12-month terms may be available in some cases.

Qualifications

• Some experience with a schematic capture package, Orcad preferred.
• Electronic design skills shown through practical course work or experience.
• Familiarity with standard test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters and signal generators.
• Strong mathematical and analysis skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Electrical Engineering team to support new and existing product designs.

About The Role

The Electrical Engineering department at L3HARRIS WESCAM is looking for a co-op student to work as a junior engineer on hands-on projects. You will work with your team to conduct various testing, analyses and presentations.
