Job summary

Citco in Toronto, Canada, is seeking a software-focused contributor to join its Reporting IT team. You will participate in sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives while delivering on-prem or cloud-native solutions in AWS as part of a cross-functional agile team.

You will design and implement automated tests and research new technologies to present findings to the team. The role suits someone in the 3rd or 4th year of a Computer Science program with interest in financial services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL and web technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, Dynamo, RDS and CloudFormation.
• Experience with React, Spark or Node is an asset.

Your Role

• You will participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives.

• Research new technologies and present findings to the larger team

About You

• You have experience with some of the following technologies: Python, Java, Javascript, HTML, SQL and general web technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, Dynamo, RDS and CloudFormation is a nice to have
• Experience with any of the following would be an asset: React, Spark, Node
• Strong communication skills
• Completed the 3rd or 4th year of pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
• You have Interest in financial services

Salary Range: CAD $53,000 to CAD $71,000
