At the Merchant Engineering team, we develop products that are easy for developers to integrate, enabling Merchants and Partners to unlock the value of the Affirm network. Our goal is to build a flexible, scalable, and robust platform to enhance the purchasing experience both online and in-store.
The Merchant Risk Intelligence & Platform (MRIP) team focuses on automating merchant risk assessment throughout their lifecycle within Affirm. We develop backend platforms and collaborate across teams to enable ML engineers to build models that automate decision-making processes, from onboarding new merchants to monitoring trends and managing risk effectively, ensuring a smooth merchant experience.
Pay Grade - L
Equity Grade - 5
Base pay ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 per year, with additional benefits including equity rewards, stipends, and comprehensive health coverage. Affirm is a remote-first company, allowing flexible work locations within the country of employment.
