Job summary

Kraken Sense Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across product development, internal tools, and production software, with an emphasis on learning and growth in a broad tech environment.

You will design and maintain software for mechatronics systems, build mobile and web interfaces using React or equivalents, and collaborate to deliver reliable software while embracing DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, CS, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, React, or C (ideally more than one).
• Exposure to web technologies and React or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Interest or experience in mechatronics control systems.

Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer at KrakenSense, you'll be involved in various software development tasks. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain experience across different platforms. You'll work on improving processes, developing internal tools, building out production software to increase the feature-base and developing new products as part of a close-knit software team. As our expectations for duties in the role are very broad, guidance and consideration for learning and growing will be a part of the role.

• Exposure to C programming.
• Exposure to web technologies; familiarity with React or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electronics.
• Interest or experience in mechatronics control systems.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and a strong eagerness to learn.
