the company is a global leader in IoT and transportation analytics based in Oakville, Ontario. The role Software Development Team Lead, Altitude combines hands‑on technical leadership with people management to drive scalable, data‑driven products for public and private sector customers.

You will work with product managers, data scientists and UX designers to define, design and ship features on the Altitude platform.

Qualifications

• Post‑Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years experience as a Software Developer using object‑oriented programming to build scalable applications.
• Leadership experience in a team‑oriented workplace, including coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Direct software development projects and ensure end‑to‑end delivery with an AI‑first mindset.
• Manage team task assignments, work arrangements and department expectations.
• Ensure progress stays on schedule and provide stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to ship features across the Altitude platform.
• Perform Test‑Driven and Security‑Driven Development.
