As a Software Development Manager, you will lead one of Petal’s empowered, multidisciplinary delivery teams, bringing together developers and technical leads to deliver high-quality software efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with product strategy.
Sitting at the intersection of people leadership, delivery execution, and cross-functional collaboration, you will create clarity, drive accountability, and translate strategy into actionable delivery plans. In close partnership with Product Management, Architecture, and your team, you will foster an execution culture grounded in Agile and Kanban principles, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
Your strong judgment and technical literacy will enable you to engage meaningfully with engineers and architects, challenge assumptions constructively, and make sound delivery decisions. You will coach and support your team, helping individuals grow while building a high-contributing culture based on ownership, collaboration, trust, and impact.
You will also play a key role in Petal’s AI transformation, helping teams adopt new ways of working, improve productivity, and innovate responsibly. As part of one of Canada’s fastest-growing SaaS companies, you will help evolve our delivery model and lead a talented, customer‑centric team whose work makes a real impact on the healthcare system.
