About the Role:

The Trust Experience Platform team is a completely new squad at Remitly focused on building full stack building blocks that power our compliance, fraud, and authentication systems. This is an opportunity to work across both front-end and back-end systems, contributing to the development of critical features that power customer trust and safety. We are looking for founding engineers to help set the culture and vision of the team. You Will:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems that drive fraud prevention, compliance, and authentication experiences on Remitly's platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver customer-focused solutions that enhance trust and safety.
• Lead technical discussions, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Trust Platform.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, including some focus on frontend development.
• Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $112,000-$140,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
