Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC in Vancouver is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and operate features across the stack, from front-end experiences to the services and APIs that power developer workflows.

You will own projects end-to-end, collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and partner teams while using data to drive improvements and align with architectural and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
