Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC in Vancouver, BC is seeking skilled Software Engineers to design, build, and scale distributed systems. You will collaborate with top engineers to deliver innovative services that impact millions of customers.

Roles require 3+ years of professional software development and strong design or architecture experience. Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent preferred; ability to work in an agile environment and contribute to full software life cycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
