Amazon Tax Platform Services in Vancouver is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build and maintain the tax calculation platform that processes hundreds of millions of records and handles millions of service requests per minute.

The role covers design, development, testing and operations with emphasis on reliability and performance. We value strong communication, self‑driven approach, and hands‑on coding across the full SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

Software Development Engineer, Amazon Tax

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
