Job description

We are looking for a ETL Specialist who will integrate data from the company’s diverse data source into our Enterprise Data Platform and make them available.

Your mission :

Collaborate with the team and the other IT departments to analyze, develop, test, and deploy solutions to maintain or integrate new business areas to our data warehouse and Snowflake migration.

Understand business requirements, translate them into technical requirements.

Design ,develop and maintain Data ingestion & consumption pipelines as per intact data ingestion pattern.

Design and develop realtime data streaming pipelines with robust data reconciliation and observability mechanism.

Take leadership in defining the Software Engineering best practices regarding the code standardization, branching strategy, pipeline code optimization, cost optimization, design patterns, etc.

Collaborate with Solution and Enterprise Architects to address unique business problems, provide project estimates and design complex data transformations solutions, utilizing appropriate tools and technologies.

Document implementation steps and produce quality evidence. Create and maintain system documentation.

Provide technical support to Business Intelligence analysts, testers, and deployment coordinators throughout our development cycle and for production support, typically during regular business hours.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in data integration and ETL tool development.

Experience :

• Over 5 years of experience in web applications, including JSP with JDBC, Apache Camel or Spring Integration, and Spring Boot.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with IICS CAI (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Cloud Application Integration).

Technical Skills :

• Proficient in Java (including J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot), Tomcat, Maven, ESB, and Python programming.
• Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and various data ingestion patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and IICS CAI (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Cloud Application Integration).

Additional Knowledge :

• Familiarity with the insurance or financial sector is a plus.

Assets :

• Experience with Databricks, SAS Enterprise Guide, GIT, Jenkins, Business Objects, and Power BI.
