What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Set architectural direction for the organization and lead the migration to a domain-driven microservice architecture
- Develop high-quality code and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure standards are met
- Create comprehensive documentation and technical requirements based on business needs
- Provide support for mission-critical applications and inspire peers through technical contributions
- Participate in setting technical direction and standard processes across the technology organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 12 years of relevant industry experience, or a master’s degree with 9 years of experience, or 16 years of practical experience
- Object-oriented software development experience, specifically with C# and .NET Core
- Significant experience in designing high-volume production systems with a focus on availability, performance, and security
- Experience in designing and developing microservices within an AWS cloud-based architecture
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL technologies (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 or more years of experience with event/stream processing mechanisms, particularly Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, or AzureBus
- 5 or more years of experience with Application Process Monitoring (APM) tools like Scalyr/DataSet and New Relic
