Your role and responsibilities

As a Spark Developer, you will be responsible for developing, programming, and maintaining applications using the Apache Spark open-source framework. Your work will involve various aspects of the Spark ecosystem, including Spark SQL, DataFrames, Datasets, and streaming. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing Iceberg and Delta Lake for Spark use cases in Lakehouse architectures, optimizing these for Spark applications.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Software development expertise: 4-6 years of professional experience with a strong background in Java programming and familiarity with modern collaborative development tools such as GitHub.
• Multi-platform development experience: Experience developing in at least two environments, such as Windows, Linux, and/or Mac.
• Strong sense of autonomy: Ability to independently learn and develop new skills rapidly to achieve proficiency in new coding projects.
