Job summary

Entrust is offering an 8‑month Software Developer Intern term in Ottawa with a hybrid schedule. You will join the Discovery team, work on plugins and an SDK, and contribute to security‑driven software development using modern tools and cloud platforms.

We seek undergraduates in Computer Science who can code in multiple languages, collaborate across departments, and thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment. The role starts January 4, 2027, with an Oct 30, 2026 application deadline.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Computer Science program.
• Completed at least two years of course work in your current program.
• Please indicate your last complete year of study and your GPA.
• Works comfortably in two or more programming languages.
• Good with details, time management, and planning.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Able to locate in Ottawa and work a hybrid schedule (three days per week in the office).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features in Go and other languages.
• Build with tools like Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, GitHub Copilot, VS Code and many open-source tools.
• Collaborate with teams in sales, support, product development, and professional services.
• Write automation and deploy software to Docker containers, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud.
• Learn a secure software development lifecycle.
• Accelerate your work safely and reliably using state-of-the-art AI models, agents and tools.
