Job summary

Entrust Corporation in Ottawa is seeking an Intern – Software Development for an 8‑month hybrid program. You’ll join our R&D team to design and implement features in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript and React, and contribute to unit tests and test infrastructure.

You’ll work with Gradle, Git, Jira, Confluence, and set up development environments using Spring Boot, Docker and AWS, under guidance from senior developers. This role requires Ottawa residency and full-time commitment for eight months.

Internship Conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• You have learned to program in several different languages
• You are comfortable working with Mac OS or the Unix/Linux family of operating systems
• You are interested in learning about Authentication, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, X.509, Smart cards, DevOps, AWS, Docker
• You understand object-oriented design and apply design patterns
• You have used tools to manage, build, and test code that you have written.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, skills and experience.
