Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Node.js).
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Proficiency in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS).
  • 3D image capturing experience or ML/CV exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and use data to understand key performance characteristics of our sensors.
  • Report progress, blockers, and new learnings.
  • Investigate and propose solutions to current technical challenges.
  • Deliver outcomes quickly and iteratively.

Job Summary

Join our growing team to develop BinSentry's newest product line! We're looking for smart, generalist developers who are detail oriented, eager to learn, and who can work closely with our principal architect and product team to enhance the efficacy and accuracy of our ProSense HD product. We are a small, fun team that moves fast without a lot of red tape. We are outcomes focused and tackle interesting and hard problems, driven by data. You'll work across our product backend & ML pipeline, helping develop solutions to improve our sensor accuracy and performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (we use React, Node.js)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Proficiency in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, Serverless) is a plus
  • Computer vision, ML architecture & problem solving ability is a plus
  • 3D image capturing experience, particularly around accuracy is an asset
