DRW, a diversified trading firm, seeks an AI/ML Research Intern in Montreal to join a team of researchers and traders. You will tackle forecasting problems, build large language models, and apply deep learning to telemetry data under mentorship.

You should be pursuing a master's or PhD in ML/NLP, with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch and Python, and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's or PhD in ML/AI/NLP, graduating between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Expertise in deep learning, ML and statistics.
• Demonstrated experience training large models.
• Proficient with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn; Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing large scale deep learning models for computer vision, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks or similar domain
• Improving our data and data pipelines
• Time series forecasting
• Applying deep learning methods to telemetry data (sensor data and metrics collected from intelligent devices)
