Job description

Position Summary:

As a Software Developer Co-op on the Procurement team at Euna Solutions, you will join one of our development teams alongside 2-5 other developers, taking product stories from design to shipment. You will work with your team on individual and team goals to improve and enhance our software product. All aspects of our development stack are fair game.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address real-world customer challenges and deliver impactful solutions quickly by developing front-end web apps or back-end services, from detailed design to implementation.
• Design and implement APIs and back-end services.
• Create effective tests and metrics to ensure successful delivery and monitor platform performance in real-time.
• Contribute to team success through thoughtful code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and open knowledge sharing.
• Support and apply security best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
• Customer-focused mindset, understanding and empathizing with customer issues.
• Curious and analytical, eager to understand how and why things work.
• Collaborative team player, open to feedback, and committed to team success.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with React, Node.js, Python, AngularJS, MySQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#.
• Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA and git, and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience working in a cloud environment like AWS.
• Knowledge of SQL.
