We're looking for students who have great attention to detail, are currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Engineering degree with at least 1+ years of software development and object-oriented programming experience (academic or industry). Responsibilities

Curious about what you'll do? Here's a sample of tasks and projects our co-op's work on:

  • Implement a database-driven web application, its features and tests.
  • Join the team's code review process in an active and timely fashion.
  • Take part in the resolution of production issues and work with team members, including Technical Support teams, to see the resolution through to completion.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members across all roles to deliver on a shared responsibility for quality.
  • Participate in writing automated tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage of features.
  • Assist in product roadmap discussions and implementation.
  • Follow the mentorship of full-time team members.
  • Participate in initiatives that make us stronger as a team (e.g. internal dash-boarding, metrics for our success in production, improved build processes).
  • Contribute ideas and effort for continuous improvement for the team, in its Agile process and in its general team effectiveness.


Objective Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for a Software Developer Co-Op, the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below must be met. Please ensure the application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs.

  • Will be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering Management, Information Systems Management, Business Analytics, or an equivalent field during the 2025-2026 school year. Graduating no later than June 2026.
  • Experience with Java and SQL
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and DOM
  • A passion for software quality
  • Knowledge of QA processes and methodologies is a plus
  • Co-op/intern or other industry experience in software is a plus
  • Attend a university in Canada.
  • Authorized to work in Canada in 2025.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $20,500 - $120,000 per year.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
