Job Description

Position: Software Developer Test Student

Number of Position(s): 1

Duration: 4 Months

Date: September 2nd to December 19th, 2025

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Canada

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with an accredited school in Canada.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Develop test scenarios
  • Write and run manual and automated tests using Cucumber + Java and Robot + Python. to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
  • Setup and debug of the test environment and equipment.
  • Authoring or updating documentation guides.
  • Working on cybersecurity products used by major communication service providers worldwide.

Key Skills And Experience

  • A keen interest in automating everything and a passion for quality, testing and analysis
  • Good knowledge of Java, Java APIs, and REST
  • The ability to ask questions and communicate your ideas and opinions to those around you

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience writing test cases and/or test plans
  • Working knowledge of Cucumber
