Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software professional in Canada to design, code, test, and maintain integrated software across product design, lifecycle management, and quality engineering. You will monitor systems, analyze logs, and alert administrators to issues while building internal tools and reports.

You will transform data, leverage APIs, and collaborate on user stories, automated tests, and regulated environment deployments to ensure high-quality code and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Object-oriented programming skills, preferably Java or C#.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git and source repositories.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Experience with test-driven development and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience developing web apps or desktop apps.
• Ability to learn and use third-party APIs and libraries.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

• Enhance and extend Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems using APIs


• Participate in gathering user stories and requirements across teams


• Author and execute manual and automated test plans


• Perform software validation and deploy changes in a regulated environment

Requirements

• Object-oriented programming skills, preferably with Java or C#
