Job summary

Maarut in Toronto is seeking a senior software engineer to translate technical specifications into working, tested applications. You will develop detailed programming specifications, write code, and compile data-driven programs while maintaining and unit testing them.

You will also troubleshoot issues during use and assist in implementations and migrations. The role emphasizes integrating IBM ODM/BAW solutions, building RESTful and SOAP services, and delivering microservices on Azure with CI/CD

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Ontario Government IT standards (GO-ITS 54) and accessibility best practices.
  

Public Sector Experience

• Experience working with permitting platforms within the Ontario Public Service (OPS) or other public sector environments, including integration with enterprise systems and compliance with government standards.
