Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Software Engineer for Spherical Imaging & Computer Vision to join the Ladybug team. You will own software and imaging technologies that power panoramic imaging systems.

You will work across SDK development, image processing, camera calibration, focusing, and image quality analysis while collaborating with hardware, optics, firmware, production, and product management.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in modern C++ development with strong problem solving.
  • Experience with image processing, computer vision or scientific computing.
  • Windows and Linux development experience.
  • Excellent debugging and analytical abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the Ladybug SDK for Windows and Linux.
  • Build high-performance image processing pipelines for panoramic image generation.
  • Improve software performance through GPU acceleration and optimization.
  • Investigate and resolve software, image quality, and customer-reported issues.
  • Apply modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Lead development of camera calibration and focusing algorithms.
  • Create image quality metrics, validation methods, and analysis tools.
  • Contribute to architecture, design reviews, and feasibility studies.
  • Evaluate emerging imaging, sensor, optics, and computer vision technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new capabilities.

Software Engineer, Spherical Imaging & Computer Vision

Join a team developing advanced spherical imaging technology used to capture and transform complex visual data into actionable insights. As a Software Engineer on the Ladybug team, you will take ownership of critical software and imaging technologies that power industry-leading panoramic imaging systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role with broad technical scope. You will work across SDK development, image processing, camera calibration, focusing, image quality analysis, and next-generation product development while collaborating with experts in hardware, optics, firmware, production, and product management.

Salary Range:

$76,800.00-$102,400.000
