Job summary

DRW in Montreal seeks multiple Software Developers to build scalable, real-time market data software powering trading systems. You will work with cutting-edge technology alongside senior technologists to deliver robust data transformation and delivery pipelines.

You’ll collaborate with traders and operations to keep production systems healthy, drive new initiatives, and ensure data accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 10 years of experience building software systems.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Experience with Python or C++. Experience in both is an asset.
• Passion for financial markets and an interest in global events and how they influence market behaviour.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and correctness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with any of these technologies is an asset: Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, ELK, Docker, TCP, HTTP, Regex.
• Experience with relational databases is an asset.
