Job summary

Camfil Power Systems in Laval, QC is seeking a software developer with strong Power BI and frontend skills to design, build, and maintain internal web apps for global teams. You will translate business needs into data models and visual insights while ensuring data accuracy and security.

The role requires experience with Power BI, SQL databases, and modern web technologies (HTML, React, JavaScript). Azure experience is a plus. English fluency is essential; French is a plus.

Software development

• Analyze business processes and identify automation and optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, procurement, and operations stakeholders to gather requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications and tools for global teams
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with company IT and data governance standards
• Maintain and improve existing tools

PowerBI

• Act as the primary owner of Power BI development across functions within the local office
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into actionable data models and visual insights
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reports
• Support users with reporting needs and continuous improvements

Are you THE person we are looking for?

• Experience with PowerBI, including dashboard development and solid knowledge of SQL database.
• Frontend development experience, e.g., HTML, React, and JavaScript with a good understanding of backend technologies, e.g., Node.js, Python.
• English spoken and written, other languages will be considering an asset
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure is a significant advantag
