Job summary

Croesus Finansoft Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to evolve our portfolio management software, within an Agile team that values quality and collaboration. You will work with C#/.NET and TypeScript/Angular, write automated tests, and leverage AI tools to improve development workflows.

The role requires strong French communication, a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree, and at least 4 years of software development experience. Experience in wealth management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (College Diploma/DEC or Bachelor’s degree), or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
• Experience or familiarity with the financial sector or wealth management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features in accordance with team standards and best practices.
• Write automated tests and participate in the shift-left approach to catch issues as early as possible.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of the code you deliver, and contribute to troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions with the team.
• Leverage generative AI in your daily workflow and suggest enhancements to our tools and processes.

Position Job Overview As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of our portfolio management software—a solution used daily by wealth management firms. You will work on an established, continuously evolving product within an Agile team that places high value on quality and collaboration. Generative AI is an integral part of our development practices, and you will help make the most of it.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain features in accordance with team standards and best practices.
• Write automated tests and participate in the shift-left approach to catch issues as early as possible.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of the code you deliver, and contribute to troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions with the team.
• Leverage generative AI (Claude) in your daily workflow and suggest enhancements to our tools and processes.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong proficiency in French is mandatory, as all internal meetings are conducted in French.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (College Diploma/DEC or Bachelor’s degree), or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
• Experience or familiarity with the financial sector or wealth management is an asset.

Technical Skills

• Experience with C#/.NET and TypeScript/Angular.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong interest in AI tools applied to software engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an asset.
