Job summary

Croesus is seeking a Developer, Quality Assurance & Automation to design, automate, and optimize web, API, and performance testing. You will build robust automated suites using Playwright and Locust, integrate AI assistants for script generation, and ensure tests align with CI/CD workflows in a cloud-based environment.

You will collaborate with DevOps and development teams, focusing on testability and reliability while accelerating release cycles through AI-powered testing strategies.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent in software QA, software development or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development and/or designing, automating, and executing test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) and API automated testing frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript), applying POM and strong typing.
• Develop and execute load testing campaigns using Locust (Python), k6, or Loadster; analyze metrics to recommend optimizations.
• Deploy and run containerized testing infra with Docker as AWS ECS Fargate tasks; automate logs and reports with Python/Bash (S3, CloudWatch).
• Orchestrate automated test suites in GitHub Actions; optimize CI/CD to reduce false positives and improve stability.
• Create and share AI skills and prompts to accelerate engineering workflows and identify critical test areas.

Job Overview:

Part of the Technical Quality Assurance team, the Developer, Quality Assurance & Automation plays a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing our Web, API, and Performance testing strategies. On a daily basis, you will develop and maintain robust automated test suites (Playwright, Locust) integrated into our CI/CD pipelines and Cloud infrastructure. Working in close collaboration with DevOps and development teams, you will serve as a quality reference, ensuring that requested features are consistent, testable, and reliable. You will actively leverage AI assistants (Claude Code) to accelerate script generation and maximize release reliability.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Web & API Automation: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) and API automated testing frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript), applying the Page Object Model design pattern and strong typing. Integrate AI assistants (notably Claude Code) to accelerate script generation, refactoring, and preventive maintenance.
• Performance & Load Testing: Develop and execute load testing campaigns targeting critical API architectures and microservices using Locust (Python) or k6. Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend technical optimizations to development teams.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Containerizatio: Deploy and run containerized testing infrastructures with Docker executed as AWS ECS (Fargate) tasks. Automate workflows and log/report retrieval (AWS S3, CloudWatch) using Python and Bash scripts.
• Continuous Integration & CI/CD: Orchestrate and integrate automated test suites (functional and performance) within GitHub Actions pipelines. Optimize execution times in CI/CD and ensure execution stability by reducing false positives.
• Productivity & AI Engineering: Create and share custom AI skills and prompts across the team to accelerate engineering workflows, while identifying the most critical areas of the software to prioritize testing efforts.

Education and Experience:

• Education: College Diploma (DEC) / Associate Degree in Software Quality Assurance, Software Development, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in software development and/or designing, automating, and executing test scenarios.
