We're looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer to join our brand new Privacy & Customer Trust (PACT) team in Toronto. Your day-to-day tasks will include participating in code reviews and technical discussions, as well as tackling challenging technical problems. You'll build high-performance consent management systems, implement real-time privacy preference handling, and create scalable solutions for processing customer choices. Additionally, you'll develop robust fallback mechanisms to maintain service reliability and work extensively with distributed systems and microservices. You will mentor junior engineers on effective use of both traditional and AI-powered development tools while contributing to the team's growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of privacy-respecting advertising technology in the streaming media landscape.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and contribute to the team's long-term roadmap, including integration of emerging AI technologies
  • Mentor junior engineers on effective use of both traditional and AI-powered development tools while contributing to the team's growth
  • Analyze and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability using data-driven approaches
