Job summary

Giant Tiger is seeking a friendly, motivated Softgoods Associate (Part-Time) at our Collingwood, Ontario location. You will deliver excellent customer service, process transactions, replenish merchandise, and help maintain store standards.

Typical shifts include days, evenings and weekends with a 35–40 hour weekly expectation for full-time and a flexible part-time mix up to 24 hours weekly. The role includes handling tobacco and lottery policies, cycle counts, and maintaining health and safety

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service at the register and across the store.
• Record transactions accurately in cash registers and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and perform markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of Tobacco and Lottery policies.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
