Job summary

Giant Tiger is seeking a part-time Softgoods Associate to join our Scarborough location. You will deliver friendly service, process transactions at registers and SCOs, stock shelves, and ensure accurate pricing and displays. The role includes alternating weekends with day/evening shifts, and up to 24 hours per week for PT.

Hourly pay is $17.60, with opportunities to grow through store experience. This temporary role ends 2026-12-24 and offers a Canadian retail experience with a safety-focused

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions at cash registers and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Comply with health and safety policies.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
