Emergency Services at all Hamilton Health Sciences sites provide acute care for both adults and children. Hamilton General supports adult trauma, burns, cardiology, and cardiovascular programs.
As a member of the healthcare team, the Social Worker provides direct patient care through psycho-social screening and assessments; individual and family counseling and treatment; crisis intervention; bereavement counseling; liaison and referral to community agencies; advocacy; and discharge planning.
Note: All Social Worker postings are at the BSW rate unless MSW is required. Applicants with an MSW will be adjusted to the MSW rate upon proof of degree.
