Job summary

Sinai Health Foundation in Toronto is seeking a Communications & Social Media Specialist to drive donor-facing storytelling across channels. You will craft compelling content, manage editorial calendars and lead social media with timely posts that showcase impact.

You’ll translate complex medical and philanthropic information for diverse audiences, collaborate across Foundation teams, and contribute to campaigns with Canva-based visuals, short-form video and brand-aligned design.

Qualifications

• Degree in media, marketing or communications.
• Minimum of three years in communications and social media.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Hands-on digital content creation with Canva.
• Experience with Sprout Social or Hootsuite.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and proofread donor-facing communications across channels.
• Develop patient, donor, researcher stories demonstrating impact.
• Support events with invitations, reminders and donor materials.
• Plan content across digital touchpoints and refresh donor stories.
• Manage daily social media content, calendar and posting.
