About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and fast-paced Marketing and Communications team as a Social Media and PR Executive. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of our marketing campaigns.

Working within the Digital Marketing Team, you will assist in managing external communications channels, programmes, and campaigns aligned with business priorities.

As Social Media and PR Executive, your responsibilities include:

Social Media:
  • Support the senior team in implementing the social media strategy to drive business growth.
  • Create high-quality content tailored to each social media platform in collaboration with stakeholders across various sectors.
  • Manage the social media schedule to ensure timely and relevant posts that engage target audiences.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging content themes to keep the brand relevant.
  • Collaborate across departments to share insights and promote Sunbelt 4.0 initiatives, products, solutions, and sustainability efforts.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social channels.
  • Engage with followers, influencers, and key customers to boost brand visibility and community engagement.
  • Analyze social media metrics regularly, identify areas for improvement, and prepare performance reports with recommendations.
  • Lead the employee advocacy program, focusing on increasing social media engagement, especially on LinkedIn.
  • Provide training on social media best practices and personal branding to team members.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns.
Public Relations:
  • Contribute to the scheduling of external communications activities.
  • Assist in developing and executing PR strategies and campaigns, building relationships with key publications across sectors.
  • Create draft press releases and promotional materials.
  • Support media event planning and coordination.
  • Conduct competitor and industry trend research.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements—combining remote work with 2-3 days in the office at Birchwood Park, Warrington.

  • Proficiency in Office 365, including Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across organizations.
  • Experience in running campaigns and activities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and delivering engaging communications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm, with a strong willingness to learn and expand the role.
