About the role:

The Social Media & Influencer Manager is responsible for growing the Sheet Society brand presence and fostering positive brand sentiment across social channels, through content, influencer and community strategies that amplify our brand, elevate brand perception and drive traffic to both our online and physical stores.

You’ll develop and execute compelling, on-brand social activity aligned with our positioning, content pillars, and campaign goals, staying ahead of trends and platform updates. While not a content creator, you’ll collaborate with the creative team to ensure content is optimised for each platform.

Building strong internal and external relationships is key—partnering with digital and customer service teams while fostering lasting influencer and creator connections.

Leading one of our most visible channels, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the Sheet Society brand shows up, and how the community connects with us. It’s a fast-paced, dynamic role with the ability to really make your mark.

About the team:

Part of the Brand Marketing Team within our broader Marketing Department, the Social Media & Influencer Manager works closely with our Brand, Digital and Creative teams, as well as Customer Service.

Key responsibilities:

Channel Strategy

  • Ownership of the entire Sheet Society organic social channel mix which currently includes TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Plus, defining which channels are right for the brand, staying abreast of emerging and future channels and leading the conversation internally about new channel opportunities.
  • Responsible for the performance of owned channels, including defining what success looks like and ensuring that strategic, commercial and brand goals are maintained.
  • Build, create and maintain an organic social calendar ensuring all planned content is on-brand, relevant to the channel and in support of our content pillars.
  • Maintain and make use of levers that drive engagement and grow our audience, including brand partnerships, collaborations and competitions.

Influencer Management

  • Collaborate with influencers to brief, develop and approve creative content that resonates with their audience whilst aligning with Sheet Society brand objectives.
  • Stay informed about emerging influencers, trends, and shifts in the influencer marketing space across platforms.

Community Management

  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to define and execute the community management strategy, ensuring it addresses our brand engagement objectives - to deliver a stunning brand experience - whilst also meeting customer needs.

Performance, Insights & Reporting

  • Define the most important Social Media channel metrics and oversee channel reporting, communicating insights to the broader business on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Consistently use data and insights to bring to life areas of opportunity and execute on opportunities that arise.

Leadership

  • Lead the way when it comes to improving how we work, with a focus on driving continual improvement, are quick-to-market and ensure we are first to get on (and off) the latest social trends.

About you:

  • You have 3+ years experience in social media marketing, digital marketing or brand marketing.
  • You have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent in marketing or public relations/communications.
  • You have a working knowledge of all social media channels, and understand what content is appropriate for what channel and what results to benchmark.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing multi-channel social media strategies for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • You have a strong creative eye and know what makes thumb-stopping content. Supported by the Content Creator, you too have a sound understanding of content creator tools like Canva and CapCut.
  • Experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and third-party scheduling/analytics tools to track engagement and optimise campaigns.
  • Community Engagement & Brand Voice – Skilled in managing audience interactions, fostering community engagement, and maintaining brand tone across platforms.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Ability to work with internal teams and external agencies to align social media with business goals.
  • Understanding of social media SEO best practices and ability to stay ahead of trends and platform updates.
  • You’re at the forefront of current content trends, emerging influencers, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns, meeting deadlines, and adjusting strategies as needed.
