Job description

We are an elite development youth soccer organization dedicated to fostering a love for the game, building strong foundational skills, and mentoring young athletes. We believe that great coaches are great leaders first. Our academy focuses entirely on comprehensive player development, providing a structured, positive, and high-energy environment for players of all skill levels to master their technical abilities on the ball.

Role Description

We are seeking passionate, high-energy individuals to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season. Depending on your experience, roles are available across our Senior Coaching Staff and Junior Coaching Staff tiers. In this role, you will work out of the Maxwell Soccer Centre (Main Building), collaborating closely with our Technical Director, Matthew Stevens, to deliver structured academy training sessions, development practices, and specialized technical skill clinics. Because we operate strictly as a development academy rather than a competitive match league, your focus will be entirely on player growth, confidence, and technique on the training pitch.

No formal coaching certifications? No problem. We prioritize a strong soccer background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring youth. For the right candidates, we provide mentorship and fully support you in obtaining your official coaching licenses (such as Canada Soccer pathways) once you are settled into our program.

Qualifications
  • Soccer Experience: A strong background playing soccer (youth club, competitive, or adult leagues) or prior experience in youth sports mentorship.
  • Passionate Communicator: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and manage youth groups effectively.
  • Reliable Transportation: Ability to travel punctually to the Maxwell Soccer Centre for scheduled sessions.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Commitment to evening weekday and/or weekend training schedules matching our 4–10 hour weekly structure.
  • Background Check: Must be willing to complete a valid police information check with a vulnerable sector screening prior to starting.
What We Offer
  • Rapid Growth & Career Pathing: We are expanding quickly, providing clear pathways to advance from junior/senior tiers into long-term leadership roles.
  • Next-Gen Facilities: Train out of the Maxwell Soccer Centre today, with plans to transition into our own dedicated training facility by next year.
  • Future Club Expansion: Be part of our ground-floor transition as we build toward launching a competitive club branch in the CMSA and equivalent youth leagues.
  • Professional Development: Competitive hourly part-time rates and official coaching certification opportunities (such as Canada Soccer pathways).
  • Top-Tier Resources: Complete access to high-quality training equipment, custom academy apparel, and a structured technical curriculum.
