Job summary

Community Sports Partners (CSP) is hiring energetic Youth Soccer Coaches in Milton, Ontario. We train children from 2 to 14 with a focus on fun, safety, and skill development, progressing from toddler activities to scrimmages and game-like play. Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and enjoy working with kids and parents.

Weekday evenings (4pm–8pm) and Saturdays/Sundays (9am–12pm) are available; summer and winter seasons are required. Coaching certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach soccer skills and age-appropriate scrimmages for 2–14 year-olds.
• Engage with children, parents, and co-workers to create a positive environment.
• Deliver feedback to parents and monitor child safety during activities.
• Be available through Summer and Winter seasons.
• Participate in assessments and standard coaching procedures.

Job description

CSP is one of the largest and fastest growing private youth sports operators in the GTA. We provide fun, engaging experiences, creating lasting memories for the youth and families in our communities! We're looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and kid-friendly soccer coaches to join our team!

Our program starts with children aged as young as 18 months and gets them excited about "organized activities." At that age, it's way more about fun and fist pumps than it is about soccer. However, our children quickly progress into kicks, goals and even scrimmages. By the time they hit ages 5 or 6 we introduce them to scrimmages and then onto more competitive play thereafter. We continue to progress through to our oldest kids, who can be as old as 13, and are more focused on game-like situations and skill development.

We are currently hiring for Youth Soccer Coaches who have experience working with children from ages 2 - 14. Preference for coaches with experience across a wider age range.

• Passionate about working with and engaging young children is a must.
• Availability on weekday evenings (between 4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (between 9am - 12pm on Saturday/ Sunday).
• Reliable and professional.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers.
• Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents.
• High energy individual who is physically fit and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 2+ hours
• Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

Ideal Experience

• Experience working with children ages 2 – 6 years.
• Preference for experienced soccer coaches who are able to work with both Toddler and Youth ages
• Experience with other types of young child sports organizations (SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads, etc.) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues, etc.)
• Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an asset
• Complete both of our short assessments (about 5 minutes each) before or right after applying. Applications with both completed are reviewed first:

  • Skills game assessment

Compensation: $18-23 per hour
