Job summary

WinSport is seeking a motivated team member to support snowmaking and terrain park maintenance at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. The role involves setting up and taking down snowmaking gear, maintaining equipment, and working outdoors in winter conditions.

You will operate snowmobiles, assist in terrain park features, and collaborate with fellow staff to ensure safe, high-quality snow venues for daily use and events. Prior manual labour and a love of winter sports are assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manual labour role is a plus.
• Ability to operate in outdoor winter conditions.
• Flexible scheduling including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Skier or snowboarder with own equipment is desirable.
• Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up and transfer snowmaking guns and hoses across venues.
• Assemble and dismantle snowmaking gear during season.
• Maintain snowmaking equipment (hydrants, guns, bases, hoses).
• Operate snowmobiles safely on hill.
• Maintain snow venues for daily operations and terrain park features.
• Assist with terrain park setup and takedown for events.
