Ainger Group of Companies is seeking dependable snow shovelers to join our winter crews for sidewalk clearing and deicing across Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, and surrounding areas. You will operate snow blowers and hand tools, follow clear safety standards, and communicate with your crew lead to keep walkways safe during winter weather events.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of 22.00–25.00 CAD, seasonal on-call work with potential transitions to full-time year-round roles, and a benefits

Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in commercial snow removal, grounds maintenance, or outdoor heavy labor.
• Valid Ontario G-class driverertificate with a clean driving record.
• Comfort using smartphone applications for digital record keeping and task completion.
• Physical ability to perform continuous heavy manual labor, including repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs in winter weather conditions.
• Flexibility to remain on call 24/7 throughout the winter season and respond promptly to weather events.

Responsabilités

• Executing snow and ice removal plans for designated commercial and residential properties, clearing and salting all walkways and entrances.
• Conducting daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and hand tools, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
• Following all company and provincial safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your crew.
• Using application-based software to accurately record crew hours, materials used, and job completion status.
• Performing site inspections upon job completion to ensure work consistently meets company standards.
