Ainger Group of Companies is seeking a Snow Shoveler Lead to direct sidewalk snow clearing operations across our service areas in Collingwood, Canada. You will oversee crews and equipment operators, ensuring safety and adherence to standards while coordinating with dispatch and management.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes reliable execution, equipment readiness, and thorough quality control, with an opportunity to transition to full-time employment based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in commercial snow removal or grounds maintenance, with crew leading experience.
• Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness and flexibility to be on call 24/7 for winter weather events.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs in cold weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sidewalk shovelers and equipment operators during active snow events.
• Execute snow and ice removal plans, ensuring entrances and access points are salted and cleared.
• Enforce provincial safety regulations and company policies on every job site.
