Job summary

Strathmore is seeking a Snow Removal Equipment Operator - Class 5 for locations in Ottawa Central, Nepean & Barrhaven. This seasonal role offers fixed pay and overtime per CNESST requirements, with opportunities for year‑round work in landscaping under a permanent contract for eligible staff.

You will operate snow plows and other removal equipment, ensure safety, and report issues. Candidates must have 2 years of driving experience, a valid Class 5 licence, and be available for nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• 2 years of commercial vehicle driving experience required.
• Valid Class 5 licence and clean SAAQ driving record.
• Reliable transportation to LaSalle or assigned sites (including nights and weekends).
• Availability for snow events and assigned shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plowing and snow removal equipment safely.
• Safely operate large wheel loaders and heavy snow-removal equipment.
• Operate equipment with snow pushers, buckets, blades, and other attachments.
• Inspect equipment and report issues; follow site instructions and communicate with team.
