Job summary

Delta Bingo and Gaming is hiring a Snack Bar Attendant to prepare, serve, and sell snacks and beverages within the gaming facility. You will handle cash, answer guest questions, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area while supporting efficient service during peak periods.

Ideal candidates have experience in food service or cashier roles, possess or be able to obtain a Food Handler Certification and an AGCO Gaming Assistant License, and demonstrate strong communication and multitasking

Qualifications

• Previous food service or cashier experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification is an asset (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AGCO Gaming Assistant License.

The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverage items at the snack bar while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting efficient food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Food & Beverage Service

Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to company standards.

Operate cash registers, process payments accurately, and provide correct change.

Maintain knowledge of menu items and answer customer questions as needed.

Ensure timely service to guests, especially during peak periods.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.

Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

Stock and replenish snack bar supplies, ingredients, and beverages as required.

Assist with inventory management and monitor product levels.

Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor.

Customer Service & Teamwork

Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests.

Work collaboratively with other snack bar, lounge, and floor staff to support smooth operations.

Support a positive and safe work environment.
