Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience with MS SQL, AWS RDS, Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Microsoft Fabric.
• 3+ years of hands-on DBA experience with AWS CDK and Azure CDKTF to provision and maintain cloud DB services.
• Experience with automation, scripting, DevSecOps, and deployment using Ansible, GitHub, Liquibase, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud databases across MS SQL, AWS RDS, Redshift, and Azure SQL variants.

5+ years of hands-on DBA experience with strong proficiency in MS SQL, AWS RDS, Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Microsoft Fabric. 3+ years of hands-on DBA experience with AWS CDK and Azure CDKTF to provision and maintain Cloud related database services. Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services, such as cloud networking concepts, identity and access management, Entra ID, monitoring, backup, encryption, and operational support practices. Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, DevSecOps, and database deployment practices using tools such as Ansible, GitHub, Liquibase, shell scripting, Python, SQL, Terraform, or similar technologies. Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, change management, incident management, and production support practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to application teams, technology partners, and stakeholders.
