Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is seeking a Clinical Respiratory Consultant for the Victoria, BC branch. The role focuses on sleep diagnostics and therapeutics, collaborating with referring physicians to ensure patient safety and effective therapy setup.

The candidate will set up sleep testing equipment, initiate PAP therapy, educate patients, and conduct regular follow-ups to optimize adherence. Relevant licensing and a strong knowledge of OSA are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with provincial license.
• Experience with sleep diagnostics and therapy is required.
• Knowledge of CPAP therapy and sleep medicine guidelines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep diagnostic testing setup per AASM guidelines.
• Evaluate and tailor sleep therapy plans in consultation with physicians.
• Initiate PAP therapy and provide patient education on use and care.
• Perform equipment setup, maintenance and patient follow-up to improve adherence.
• Maintain documentation and comply with funding and privacy policies.
