Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is looking for a Clinical Respiratory Consultant to educate clients and initiate CPAP and oxygen therapy in the Qualicum Beach area. The role involves performing respiratory assessments, follow-ups, and supplying equipment while coordinating with physicians and care teams.

The candidate should have a Respiratory Therapist license or equivalent credentials, knowledge of sleep apnea, and familiarity with CPAP therapy. Accommodations are available on request.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with provincial license.
• RPN/LPN and/or RPSGT or CCSH qualification.
• Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist.
• College Certificate or Diploma in Technical/Medical Science field where permitted.
• Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body.
• Good knowledge of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and CPAP therapy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android.

Responsabilités

• Educate clients and initiate CPAP and Oxygen therapy per prescription.
• Perform respiratory assessments and follow-up services.
• Deliver equipment and supplies and develop treatment plans in consultation with care teams.
• Assess home environments for safety and perform equipment quality checks.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to ensure patient safety.
